Mother's Day 2020

Happy Monday!

I know I teased briefly on Thursday about my Mother's Day gifts from all of my men, but I wanted to hop on here today and super quickly delve a little bit more into how the Welch family does 'Mother's Day'...

...basically their polite way of saying 'Happy Mother's Day, what's for dinner'? Ha!

Now this was a favorite.  I grabbed Liam and ran to the office a few days ago and when he came into my office he said, 'Mom, why are you the only one at your work without pictures in your office?' Ha! #Guilty.  For whatever reason, I have been in my current office for 2 years and do not have a single picture frame in there of anything... So, that was changed :) 

Seeing as I am going back to work 'full-time' (as opposed to my here there and everywhere #ronaschedule) this week, I welcome the opportunity to get to see these sweet faces all day long!

Now, as for my 'traditional' Mother's Day gift...

Oh, hi there pretties (*insert heart eye emoji*)

Now, ussssuuaaallly, every single Mother's Day weekend, Tyler, the boys and I load up and head out to brunch and to get all.the.landscaping.goodies... then Tyler we spend the rest of the day/ weekend planting, mowing, watering and spiffing up the yard.  Well.  This Mother's Day, it was 30 degrees (Because Tennessee weather is about as hormonal as a teenage girl) and there was no brunching in sight because of, well, #rona.

Mother's Day 2020: A week late, Sunny and 80, a global pandemic, and take out from Moe's for dinner ;) 

...and I wouldn't have had it any other way!

Love my flowers, love this man.
